“I always knew I would work with animals, as a kid I would pretend to play “vet” on my stuffed animals. I brought home every stray I came in contact with and was very good at convincing my mom that we just HAD to keep it. I have always felt that I’m in the right profession every since tech school. I put everything I had into my education because I truly loved what I was learning. I still to this day love to learn as much as I can about animal medicine. My favorite thing about working with animals is the reward that goes without saying. Our patients can’t talk but they reward us in so many other ways. I would take a headbutt or a lick to the face over a verbal thank you any day!
My fur family consists of 3 dogs (Aurora Anne, Lennox and Valentine) and 2 cats (Miss Pocket Panther and Charlie Brown). In my free time I enjoy all things music including playing my violin, attending EDM concerts, and music festivals.”
